Web-to-Print
The heart of the trinom Procurement System is the Web-to-Print functions.
They are implemented by means of the trinomDesigner »
or your own individual print module ».
If you wish to individualize, for example, your print materials, folders, advertisements, stamps or signs, you need a
print module » that
can implemented to meet all of your requirements without employing a graphic designer for each new order.
To make this possible, the software has to master specific rules for the PDF creation and formatting.
These extensive formatting options are the reasons why many customers have opted for the trinom Procurement System.
Dynamics of Web-to-Print Functions
In this example we aim at explaining which differences in the data collection
are available and which formatting rules are applicable in the case:
- the user has selected English as the print language,
therefore the name will be shown without title
- the user has given his full first name (Maximilian instead of Max),
the name is too long for one line, therefore it will be displayed in two lines
- the mobile phone number has not been entered,
so the lines Street, Place, Phone, Fax will be automatically moved down
- the user has selected English as the print language,
therefore, instead of the German fixed text (Tel., Fax, Mobil) the English equivalent (Phone, Fax, Mobile) will be used
Of course, these are just small examples of the extensive Web-to-Print functions of the trinom
Procurement System. A complete list is available in the documentation and on web forums for administrators.
